ipad carrying case

Hi all,

Just wanted to share the iPad carrying case I have made for my bf's mom for Christmas. I had some trouble on the handles that made me frustrated & give up on trying to get them to have white edging, but I'm still proud of it.

Nice work. Never mind that the handles don't have white borders. I really like the colorway you've used. Makes me think of fire. I have been trying to find an omber like that that I can use for a project I want to make for my daughter.

Hehe, thanks! This yarn was Cascade 220 Superwash Paints in 'Tropical Punch.' It's a nice, soft wool.

Thanks! Cascade 220 Superwash Paints in 'Tropical Punch' is the yarn. I bought it at a local shop but you can probably find it online, I bet.

That's awesome and SUCH a good gift idea. I might steal it...

Also I recognize that design textbook from when my boyfriend was taking a graphic design class!

Hehe, well, if you decide to make one, the tutorial I used is here. :)

Ahaha, that's cool you recognize my book! I was taking a visual communication class that required it and I was like "hey, that would make a cool image backdrop..."
